The mudguard was easy to install onto my roadbike and fulfills its purpose. Only took about 10 minutes to install once I read through the instructions and made necessary adjustments. It also is pretty sturdy (doesn't move when riding) and yet is fairly light weight. It is also reflective so helps to be visible at night (see pictures). Only negative I would say is the screw-in part to the mudguard is fairly ugly and sticks out slightly to the side for some reason (but this doesn't hinder the mudguard's purpose of blocking dirt and water and is only a visible issue). Would recommend.

The mudguard works well at stopping the spray coming back up over you. Does not really stop much spray from going up at any riders who may be following you. Easy to install and seems pretty robust when out riding on varied terrain. Good to have handy for those times when it starts to rain just before you go out or when you know there are only going to be a few puddles out when riding.

A tad fiddly to fit on but no more fiddly than expected. Once it's on its on. Easy to loosen fixture to manipulate placement. Not sure what is meant by 'sheerness' so gave it a four star rating to keep my four star trend going. Gives me good coverage over my wheels, about 2inch wide. No more muck up my coat which makes me feel better about riding to work in the rain. I'd buy these again if I had another bike that needed a mudguard. Worth the price for ease of fixing and purpose. Doesn't look shabby. Plastic feels sturdy. Only need an Allan key to fit.

I thought this would be a good buy to have on my road bike in which i commute to and from work on. It looks like it will do a great job in saving my back & bag getting wet and dirty so for that i am glad i got this and for the price too. I currently can not confirm on how well it holds up at the moment as i have only just got it but it seems like it will do a pretty good job. The only downside to it would be the reflector isn't straight as you can see from one of the photos. Overall i think this is a great buy so far and worth it for anyone who wants a quick, cheap and light mudguard to protect them from the autum/winter weather.

I held off getting a rear mudguard for commuting for a while, but after one too many times caught in the rain and ending up dirty and gross I started taking note of what other people had on their bikes on my ride into work and settled on this one. It was easy to install and get into the best position on my seat post, easy to adjust over the wheel, and it still leaves plenty of room for a rear light as well. Most of all I was really surprised at how well it works keeping rain and road-muck off my back! Unless I've been caught in an absolute downpour where getting a bit wet is kind of inevitable no matter what you do, it does an excellent job. It doesn't move while riding and if I do accidentally knock it while moving my bike around, it doesn't budge far so it's easy to get back into position again. And come the summer sunshine I can remove it no problem. Overall - really impressed, you will be too.

The mudguard wouldn’t fit on my seat post because of a built in rear light - I’d have had to raise the saddle to make it fit. However, I was able to attach it to the frame, and by removing the guard from the mechanism and turning it upside down and refitting it (with the mechanism attached upside down), it fits fine, even if it doesn’t look exactly as intended. I’ve ridden on wet roads and muddy tracks, and it’s kept me completely dry at the back. It also looks pretty good, especially for the price.

I bought this based on some of the other reviews and thought I should write one to agree with them. I am using this on my road bike as it is much cheaper and better made compared the more expensive options out there for road bikes. The mechanism for fastening is really good. Almost entirely tool-less, I ended up just tightening the angle mechanism of the mudguard bit more. The build quality is sturdy, and it looks like it is going to last. There are rubber grips that hold the mudguard in place.

Looks like a good product however it would not fit my 12 year olds bike (13" hybrid bike with 26" wheels) as there was not enough space between the seat pin and the rear tyre. Good for adult bike and perhaps OK for young teenagers bike as long as the saddle is not in low position. Disappointing this information was not in the item details. Zefal please heed this advice!

This little mudguard is the perfect solution for the rooster tail of rain and mud you get from road riding in the rain or other wet surfaces. Easy to install and uninstall and easy to adjust. Does no damage to the frame at all, either.

my bike is like this (no horizontal bridge in the front), which is easier for females. i spend 15min on it, so if you have a similar style of bike, there is a suggestion for you: pull it out and lock it like this, i know it looks not really well, but there is the only space under my seat to install it. fit for the wheel and nice look
