For my bike with 26" wheels these mudguards perform very well. The build quality is good, the brackets adjust to your forks/frame/stem diameter so should fit most similar bikes of this type. I have ridden in very wet conditions since buying these and they have worked very well. Easy to remove temporarily and leave the fittings installed. Well pleased.

I generally dislike mudflaps on my mountain bikes as in the past, they have never served me well. These Velmia mudflaps are very different from other types i've used. The design has been carefully thought out for both installation and use. I particularly like how the front flap mount fits into the base of the handlebar, that's clever and very effective. The rear guard is effective at keeping mud and dirt of your back, though it does tends to swivel off center when knocked. Overall this is an excellent product which I thoroughly recommend.

These were fairly easy to fit, the front being slightly harder and look good on the bike. My only criticism is the front fixing does not feel very secure. Although it is fixed in position you can still move the guards.

Pros: These mudguards are well made and quite sturdy. They are affective and do the job well. They also have a small reflector on the end of them which increases visibility on the road which is small Benefit. Cons: took a little bit of time to fit but not that long, no more than 15-20 minutes max.

After some initial problems - the rear fender fitted very well. However the front fender did not provide enough clearance at the top between the forks to allow the wheel to be fitted and could not therefore be used - i received good communication from the vendor on how we might resolve the matter which we did to everyone's satisfaction.
